Worked with sales reps to develop advertising for direct-mail distribution. Job details included layout and design of ad, ad copy origination and editing, graphic logo design and photograph enhancement. I served as a contractor distributing a bi-weekly newspaper while attending college. Length of employment demonstrates ability to self-motivate.

Front desk receptionist. Duties included greeting walk-in customers, maintaining correspondence, answering telephones and filing.

I served four years. I received training in story writing, photography and layout/design of monthly publication. Job included public relations with civilians and attending ceremonies as representative of U.S. Coast Guard. Also involved with generation of press releases. Returned correspondence or requests for information that civilians or other military units submitted.
